Coleshill is a part of the Chiltern district in Buckinghamshire. It is located about halfway between the towns of Amersham and Mop End.
Coleshill has a long history dating back to the Anglo-Saxon period. The All Saints Church was built in the 18th century. There are also cottages within the area that date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
The village is a popular place to live because it is quiet and has great access to Buckinghamshire’s countryside. There are also good schools in the area. The Coleshill Church of England Infant School is located in the village.
The Red Lion restaurant is a popular place to eat in Coleshill. Patrons can also drink and socialize in the pub’s garden. The Coleshill Cricket Club, meanwhile, is where residents can participate in or watch the village’s cricket games.
The Rushymead Residential Care Home in Tower Road provides accommodation and care for the elderly. It has facilities that can cater to those who need help with activities of daily living, as well as those suffering from dementia.
A nearby lodging called Longfield Annexe is also a popular place to stay for visitors.
In Hill Meadow, a small park located in Coleshill, there is a playground for children. The park is a place where families can come to relax and spend time together. The Coleshill Village Hall is also a popular spot for events and activities. A yoga class, for example, is conducted in the spacious hall at certain times of the week.
Coleshill is a great place to raise a family or to retire. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, from walks in the countryside to visit historic buildings. And, with good access to London, it’s the perfect place to escape the city for a weekend getaway.
