Regular Window Cleaning FAQ's

We charge the full price per visit because we leave time in the schedule to complete your full window clean and sent the reminder texts the night before. If you forgot to unlock your gate or were away then please fill in the form on our customer service page. We will then book your rear windows in as soon as possible. 

Yes, we clean windows in all weathers as we strive to provide a regular and reliable, all year round window cleaning service. Rain water is almost as pure water as the water we clean your windows with,  it itself will not make your windows dirty again. 

We do offer a Rain Guarantee whereby if we have cleaned your windows in the rain and they do not dry to your satisfaction then we will return and reclean free of charge. Simply let us know via our customer service page.

Our quote form is accurate in the vast majority of cases. In the instance the price would be different from the quoted price then you would be made aware before any cleaning commenced. 

If you have booked and paid in advance for a one off service and the price needs to be changed then we would notify you before commencing the cleaning services and refund you in full if you are not happy with the revised price. 

Our window cleaners use 30ft water fed poles to clean from the ground, so they need to be able to see the skylight from ground level and be able to reach it using the pole – while stood on the ground. 

The angle of the skylight and the distance it is from the window cleaner are both factors that can make a perfect clean difficult or impossible to achieve. The best results are achieved by flipping the skylight around and cleaning from inside – particularly if the skylight is heavily soiled and has lichen etc on the glass. 

If you are a regular window cleaning client then you will have need to have an active Gocardless direct debit in place for us to clean your windows. Is his setup?

We choose to keep our staff safe by keeping their feet firmly on the ground. Ladders are only used by Splash and Sparkle, on flat, level ground to unblock downpipes. 

For regular window cleaning we only accept payment via Gocardless Direct Debit. You can signup for it here if you have not already. 

Contact us using our customer service form and we shall rearrange to clean the windows at the back of your property. This is unlikely to be on the same day – but when a window cleaning van is close by. You will of course get the text notification at 7pm the night before. 

The 7pm text messages are automated and the reply number is unmanned – any replies will not be read. If your regular window cleaning is scheduled then we will clean the windows at the front of your property and charged the full clean price. Please use our customer service form to rearrange a rear window clean at no extra charge.

If you would like to miss a clean simply let us know via our customer service page – we will then skip the window clean at your property while you are on holiday.

If you were away on holiday and we attended but the back gate was locked then we would have cleaned the front windows and missed the back windows – we would however have charged full price. If you would like to to come back to clean the backs then please contact us via our customer support form. 

We use purified water to carry out your window cleaning. Purified water has all of the impurities filtered out of it and will therefore dry completely clear. Please do not attempt to dry the window – you will make the glass smeary. Allow the windows to dry naturally. 

Yes, so long as it is reachable and safely cleanable from ground level using our telescopic water fed poles. 

Unfortunately not, we only provide external window and conservatory cleaning services.

There is no contract, we just request that you have 2 consecutive regular window cleans to be entitled to the regular cleaning price. If you wish to cancel your service please use our customer service form. 

We only clean windows using water fed poles. This removes the need for the use of ladders – keeping our cleaners as safe as possible while at work. Water fed pole cleaning also gives much better cleaning results and your windows stay cleaner for longer. 

Unfortunately not, our cleaning services operate from 7:30 am to 6pm. Your cleaner will arrive on the day between those times. 

Our regular window cleaning services are 6 or 12 weekly, however because of staff holidays and sickness etc sometimes we need to bring cleans forward or push them back by 1 week.

Our regular service is measured to the week, not to the day – therefore your cleaning can be carried out any day of the week due and at any time between 7:30am and 6pm.

We can not send the same cleaner every time due to holidays and sickness etc. We strive to provide a regular and reliable, all year round service. Any cleaner that is sent to your property will be employed, fully insured, uniformed and in one of our sign written vehicles.

One Off Window Cleaning FAQ's
