Splash and sparkle ltd are here to help with our Gutter Cleaning Service, our team use top of the range gutter vacuum systems to effectively clear gutters upto 3 stories high – from the safety of the ground. Gutters that we can clear using our gutter vac system:

  • Dormer window guttering as long as it’s completely visible from the ground with direct access for 30ft poles.


Our vans are equipped with on board generators to power the vacuums meaning that we can clear your gutters when you are out at work or otherwise engaged!

Our gutter clearing charge is to clear debris from the horizontal gutter runs of your property that are reachable from the ground using our 40 ft gutter vac system.

Our service is carried out from ground level, with the exception of clearing blocked downpipes via ladder (if there is safe and clear access), therefore the removal/replacement of gutter guards / hedgehogs is not possible. If we attend and these are present, we will be unable to clear your gutters and will retain full payment as we have scheduled your cleaning in our diary.

If you have any gutters which border a neighboring property then we may need access to their property in order to clear your gutters.

Photos of your completed gutter clearance are text to you by the cleaner on the day of your gutter clean, before they leave your property – giving you peace of mind and total confidence in our professional gutter cleaning service.

The Splash and Sparkle Gutter Clearing Process

  • We check the working area for safe, clear access and will also complete an onsite risk assessment before clearing your gutters.
  • Our operator then proceeds to setup the gutter vacuum system, powered by our on board generator.
  • After assembling the nessesary length of gutter vacuum poles the operator clears your gutters
  • We then inspect the gutters are clear using a Go Pro on a telescopic pole - photos of the cleared gutters are taken.
  • Any safely accessible downpipes are physically inspected with the use of ladder and ladder safety stand.
  • Our operator tidies away leaving your property tidy following your gutter clearing service.

Our gutter clearing process isn't suitable if your guttering has:

  • Tile Slip Guards (Mesh that sticks upwards in front of the gutters, designed to stop tiles from falling to the ground)
  • Gutter Guards / Hedgehogs (Our cleaning is carried out from ground level - so we can not remove the gutter guards to clear your gutters nor pur the guards back after clearing gutters)
  • Narrow access gutters where the roof tiles overhang the guttering making access to the gutters too narrow.

  • Our gutter clearing charge is to clear debris from the horizontal gutter runs of your property that are reachable from the ground using our 40 ft gutter vac system.
  • Our service is carried out from ground level, with the exception of clearing blocked downpipes via ladder (if there is safe and clear access), therefore the removal/replacement of gutter guards / hedgehogs is not possible. If we attend and these are present, we will be unable to clear your gutters and will retain full payment as we have scheduled your cleaning in our diary.
  • Blocked downpipes will be cleared to ground level if there is level, clear and safe ladder access. Any ladder usage must be accompanied with the use of an anti-slip ladder mat to keep our operator safe.
  • Narrow access gutters - Gutters should be installed with a minimum of 1 and half inch clearance between the tile edge and the side of the gutter. This allows ample access to get the nozzle of a gutter vacuum into the gutter. We do carry narrow access nozzles for our gutter vacuum system, but if there is narrow access to the gutter then we would be unable to guarantee getting the gutter completely clear (just like any other gutter cleaning service)
  • If you have any gutters which border a neighboring property then we may need access to their property in order to clear your gutters.
  • We do not carry out gutter repairs - the quote is for clearing your gutters.
